Mirror at the End of the Road
acrylic on canvas – 36X36X1.5 inches
Driven. Scorpio broods in the background, biding his time. Ambition is evident in the eyes of a dreamer: fission in his eyes, fusion in his mind – the third eye. Mirror Road beams into Manson’s mind — X marks the Devil’s Hole. Catching double lightning bolts, the highest archon stands at the gateway to another dimension.
This surreal-impressionist portrait-landscape hearkens back to my earliest studies, fusing a few of my early surreal concepts into one. My third tribute to Mel Lyman is a prelude to my third series, Regression.
