If Sophia ever walked the earth, she would have lived the lifestyle of Diane Arbus. Without acting upon the shame which characterizes Sophia’s transformation into Lucifer, Arbus plays a unique variation of the messenger goddess role as the gatekeeper between the inner and outer world. A dark 12-pointed vortex represents the black hole and singularity, the moment of capture frozen in time. This is a statement about creation and the artist — eternally pregnant, existing both here and in another dimension.
